Recipe Description This is a very good alternative to traditional molé sauce, which uses crackers as a thickener. It thickens as you cook/reheat it, so keep extra chicken broth on hand to thin it out for leftovers.

Steps
Sequence Step
1Chop onions in a some what fine dice
2Heat oil in a pan
3Add onions to the pan and sauté until transluscent.
4Add all ingredients besides broth and tomatoes. Stir until they form a paste in the skillet
5Add broth and tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes before adding in chicken.
6Simmer chicken for 1 hour. Serve.
